Kira was born in South Africa and then moved to Canada at the ripe old age of 3. After eight years of experiencing the harsh winters and mosquitoes of Manitoba, she moved to Ottawa for a while, where it was rumoured that the weather was fairer. Four years later, Kira trekked over to Waterloo and decided to stay there for a few years. Currently you can find her living and studying at Redeemer, where she is majoring in Humanities with a double minor in French and Classics. Kira enjoys frolicking in rain storms, scuba diving and the ocean. She dreams of one day being able to speak at least seven languages and/or live in a tree house. Kira is wildly ecstatic to be on the Roots team, so excited that she can’t even sit still when she thinks about it. Faith expressing itself through love is crucial to our Christian life and Kira is over the moon with delight at the fact that she’s here to assist you in this endeavour.
