Danielle was born on March 18th, 1992 in the city of Burlington. Her dad always told her that if she had been born a day earlier she would have been green (and she definitely understood this to be a scientific fact for many years of her life). At the tender age of 1 and a half, Danielle moved to Waterdown with her family, where she remains to this day, relocating from the suburbs to the downtown area of the bustling metropolis in Grade 6. Danielle studied English and Professional Writing at York University for one year, but decided not to continue with the degree. She now divides her time between working at the West Plains Bistro, volunteering, and, of course, Roots Team responsibilities. She also will be serving as Head Counsellor at Campfire! Summer Bible Camp this summer (where you should definitely come visit her!)

Danielle is very much enjoying serving on the Roots team. She especially loves spending time with different youth groups and seeing God working so powerfully through young people. She is passionate about providing opportunities for youth to get together to praise God in a variety of ways, encourage each other, learn from each other, and to have all kinds of fun!
